Fully constructed set
Upstage platforms and ramps built with 3/4” plywood and 2x4.
Curved steps build as individual platforms from the stage to the floor. Materials used: plywood and 2x4.
Flooring: individual pieces of hardboard were cut and arranged to create an ellipse.
All pieces were removed from the stage, labeled, and sent to the scene shop to be painted before being installed permanently with brad nails.
Stage left and stage right wall components. Rails and toggles were cut out of 3/4” plywood and scabbed together to form quarter-round sections of an ellipse.
Stage right wall frame. Stiles are 1x4 or 2x4 depending on location within frame. Assembled with glue and framing nails.
All walls covered with 1/4” luan. Seams sealed with joint compound.
